Hawks keep Rinzel. Our RD pipeline consists of....Rinzel. That's the list. No other RD.

Fair enough. I am doing this assuming the Hawks take Levshunov at #2 and that MIGHT make Rinzel available…

That's fair and I think we've talked about this before. You watch the Gophers a lot and seem to be a fan of Rinzel's play. I hope even if the Hawks draft Levshunov that they keep Rinzel. They're both very good imo and can be our Right side for a VERY long time into the future.

I am a very big Gopher and Sam Rinzel fan, and you are right! Levshunov and Rinzel will make a tremendous 1,2 punch on the right side! Faber and Rinzel would certainly accomplish the same for the Wild.

I do not think an expensive LHD is worth the difference between fourth and thirteenth, especially to a team who already has Zach Werenski.

Again, Zach Werenski. Six mil per til he's 35 is a lot for a player who won't get PP time and will slot in at 2LD. That is not worth nine slots in the draft. You want 4OA, pay up.

You won't like it. Columbus needs quality they can get from picking 4OA. Unless you're prepared to give up similar quality, there's no conversation to be had.

Even if CHI were interested in moving Rinzel and we were ignoring Rossi's size, I wouldn't pay this much for him. Not worth it, imho. I'd rather use the pick and keep Rinzel. Personally, I like Rinzel way more than he gets credit for from most scouts and media outlets. I think he is going to be a beast at his peak. Also, I really hope CHI doesn't pick Levshunov, but even if they did, our RD pipeline would still be way too thin for them to consider moving Rinzel.

Faber + pick for 4OA + Jiricek, Boldy + pick for 4OA + Johnson. And discussions probably end there pretty quickly.

I see your logic assuming we take Levshunov, but if we take Lev at 2OA that means we think he’s our 1D. Since we have no other RD prospects I don’t think that makes Rinzel immediately expendable.

Also, Rinzel, Korchinski, Nazar and Moore are KDs prized jewels — they’re important pieces for his vision of this roster. No way he moves any of these guys before we’ve seen what they’re made of unless it’s a major overpay.

I say this because there have been a lot of trades on here recently involving these guys, which generally isn’t realistic.

I would advise you to pump the brakes on any big excitement you have for Oliver Moore. I do think he is a future NHLer, but I don’t see more than a bottom 6 guy who can skate like the wind or maybe a low-end 2nd line wing. I don’t think his head and hands are anywhere near elite.

ePerhaps prized jewels was a bit hyperbolic lol. I don't think he's a slam dunk top 6 winger either, but he fits the mold of the type of team KD wants to build and would be a great outcome if he's an impactful depth piece for us. Given how thrilled KD was he fell to us at the last draft, I just don't see him turning him over so soon.
