I'll need to sleep on the idea of a Brassard-Rask swap, but I've got many center offers available to me. MacArthur is another one I'm quite open to trade. I'm sure there's something we can work out, no doubt. If you can list me some of your prospects available, I'll be able to think up something of my own as well. I looked at your thread, and it seems you're poised for a cup run, so I'll keep that in mind for the trades.



Thanks! Looking at your team, the big standouts are Ryan Strome and Mikael Granlund. I'm open to including Ho-Sang's talent in addition to something else when talking about either of them.


I'll let you know from now, that's a really good trade. Let's keep this firmly in the back of our minds, and discuss a little more on some kind of bigger package that works best for both our needs. If all fails, we could default back to this.

I'm thinking Edler would serve you a lot of good staying as your 1LD, while I personally don't have a need at LD (I'd probably shop Edler/Orlov/Chabot around after acquiring him).

Call me crazy, but isn't this a lateral move for me? They're both prime D prospects coming into the league at the same time. I'd just be transferring my weakness from right side to left side. Anyway, I think Chabot has the upper leg on McAvoy (though both more or less A level prospects)

This one's really hard to tell. I have no reason to move Ho-Sang, as a young RW talent. Either for a young RD talent of similar caliber, or part of a bigger deal.


Damn, we're not messing around anymore. LW for LW, LD for LD, all the same age and about the same potential and production. Honestly if Juolevi was a RD, I'd take this deal. But as is, impressive as it is, I don't see the point.


Call me crazy again, but Chiarot is actually not any good at shot suppression, and that's what he's supposed to be good at. I rather keep Bortuzzo's measly production but good shot suppression and physical game.

I'd say the difference is the lack of goaltending in Winnipeg. I hope bortz is going to concede ice time to Schmaltz this year. I could add a lower prospect?

Shot suppression has more to do with allowing less pucks to reach the goaltender, so I don't think he really has a handicap there. My team is already filled with plug lower prospects, it seems, so I'd be more interested in upgrading on a lower prospect.

Bozak is enticing, but he's also a rental (one year left). I don't think I'd be willing to give up any significant pieces for that, especially given that my true cup run is planned to be about two years from now. If he had 3 years on him, I'd have easily been on board with you. Unfortunately, this is all I'm willing to offer:

No thanks. As I said, I like Bozak but he's a rental. This isn't the type of team that's looking for a rental at all, so I'm not willing to give up young guys for him. We'll talk again later if I see someone interesting on your team, but for the moment, I'll be pursuing a goaltender.



I'll be pursuing a goaltender right now, so any Chabot (or Trouba) discussions will be pushed for later. I'm definitely in no hurry to trade them, if at all. Once I'm done with my goalie search, we can come back to Chabot.

If you're interested in Howard I'd be willing to move him for something like Plekanec + Paajarvi.
