He has all positive possession metrics. He’s decent offensively (except for this past season when he was completely out of PIT’s speed system.) Positive expected goals for differential. Essentially 50% on face offs. Averages approximately 30ish points a season. So yes he’s still a good player. He just doesn’t fit PIT’s speed game.

He’s not a cap dump. HE’S A GOOD PLAYER. WPG has plenty of cap space for a player like Bjugstad that fits perfectly within their team identity.

He’s not Jack Johnson. He’s a good player. He just doesn’t fit with PIT anymore. He’s perfect to WPG identity.

1.) Poulin can't be sent down to the AHL due to the CHL-NHL transfer agreement.
2.) If you can prove (statistical and analytical) that Barrie "sucks," I will delete this post.

Marino I don't and I don't want to rush his development in the slightest. He's going to be a superstar.

Pens Fans Discussion - We Win Alex L
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>PensGM2019</b></div><div>Ok to keep this more simple and streamlined discussion lets focus on one topic at a time. Ok first topic lets discuss goalies.
Is everyone in favor of Signing Jarry for $3.5/3 years and recall Desmith? (We will get to Murray lol.</div></div>
No. Just from my readings, the comparable for Jarry is Jordan Binnington from STL ($8.8M over 2 years). Jarry has done less than Binnington, imo. So bring that down to roughly, $8M contract over 3 years. $2.667M AAV.

Trade Jared McCann and maybe a 4th or 5th round pick to VAN for Jake Virtanen.

Pens Fans Discussion - We Do Not Win Alex L
While the next roster move, that I would prefer, would be to buyout JJ; there has never been a buyout in the history of the Penguins, so precedent tells me we'll have to bank on trade (which we all know is unlikely.) So, my first roster move I would suggest is: Trade Nick Bjugstad to the WPG Jets for Mathieu Perreault.
Why: They have similar cap hits, similar org needs (WPG needs another big bodied center / PIT needs a speed #3 LW (that can take draws)).

Second, we can easily afford to pay Mantha whatever he wants, even if it’s 7 mil +. Third, I’m not going to argue Murray’s value so I’ll agree that’s he’s worth a late 1st... Other people on Cap Friendly are offering a top 10 pick and good prospect and Detroit fans are still declining (Not saying that I’d decline, just stating the general price that’s being associated with him)... No way Detroit accepts that.</div></div>
Oh no...I made a typo in my ACGM. I might as well delete this now, since that's all the comments are going to talk about.

I'd take Montour, but picks (2nd + 4th?) would have to come PIT's way.
