The current asking price for patches is a good center prospect, a 1st, 2nd and young roster player. I don't think that return will happen but I can see 3 pieces potentially as long as one is a center prospect. Petry is having his career best offensive year and is a good 3rd d-man, I can see the asking price being a 1st or a 2nd + something and even then I'm not sure they would want to trade him. As said above, I'm not sure Florida is keen on giving up Borgstrom but here is probably what I would do for patches.
Patches for Borestrom, your 2nd from Arizona and another pretty decent prospect.

Subban = Cancer
Radulov = put family first our fans target players families when they struggle and radulov struggled twice last year and felt the heat.
Alzner is the only D out there with positive impact every game (yeah he costs us some to but so does everyone but few show up every game )
he's a -4 and his partner all year is a -24 with Petry getting -11 of that on PP by himself .
he is the only player on our entire team with 100 + hits and blocked shots
give him a partner that isnt Petry and he wont turnover so many pucks trying to bail out petry doing more then he is capable .
Drouin and Chucky clicking on PP has brought us from 26th before christmas to 9th in PP units in the NHL
those 2 together with Scherbak especially look get and CJ has got chucky playing like he did under Eller
(as soon as Coach Eller left Chucky's Partying began and his possession metrics literally went minus,CJ took his C away in the summer as such Chucky didnt party
and worked his ass off all year to get back to top line where he's thriving again for the first time since the 59th game of 2015 when he got his first crack at Center going
22 pts and 16 goals in 23 games )
also here's a list of Centers who refused to be abused in MTL
Spezza - blocked a trade despite not having to move and it paying more money instead he moved 1000's of miles to USA to a small market .
Kesler- laughed in our face
Staal- signed with MIN for less then half what we offered him just to play in a small stress free market .
Panarin - signed with CHI after MB scouting and trying to sign him 2 years because well he wanted a cup but i'm putting him here to because he also refused to sign here
Shipachyov - MB scouted and tried signing over a year and was close but opted to go with VGK a smaller market
everytime a C comes up they have MTL on their No Trade Lists
our fans literally create a mob outside the arena everytime they are mad so we shouldnt be surprised given the Cunneyworth situation they see
that as how fans here treat people who wont learn french</div></div>
I'm not sure where you are getting the idea that Alzner is carrying Petry, and not the other way around?
Before I say anything else, Alzner has improved lately, so credit where it is due, but Petry is still carrying the pair. The only difference is that Petry has had to step in offensively more frequently, and can now rely on Alzner to cover his pinches.
Plus/minus is not a valid statistic to compare the two.
Petry plays more on the PP, where you don't get credit for goals for.
Alzner plays more on the PK, where you don't get credit for goals against.
Most of the time, they are together at even strength. Since Montreal hasn't been scoring a lot at even strength, they would be relatively close, but both still in the minus column.
Petry only has about 10 less blocks than Alzner, and about 20 more hits. If you factor in special teams, Petry would have more blocks than Alzner as well. Petry isn't known for hitting or blocking shots, so the guy that is supposed to be doing those things should be decidedly better.
The problem is that you can't block shots when you are out of position, and you can't hit guys when they skate or move the puck past you before you close the gap. Those have been major flaws in Alzner's game this season.
It often falls to Petry to compensate for Alzner's positioning, as he either gets caught puck watching or chasing. Less noticeable lately, but it was blatantly obvious when watching the games prior to that.
More often than not, when Petry was made to look stupid on a play, it was because Alzner was caught in no man's land, so Petry would have to make a desperate attempt to do two jobs at once.
I don't understand how Petry, who has had a few decent years despite questionable partners, is having a career year, but getting so much extra criticism.

yeah EDM absolutely rips off the other team in each of these trades. remember what Columbus gave up to protect Anderson? that was WAY more than what you're trying to buy Anderson AND Savard, who is a useful player in his own right.
DET absolutely has no reason to do this. if they're selling and EDM wants to upgrade, why would they want back a similar player of the same age and take... a single round upgrade out of this? yes, EDM 2nd roudners are almost first roudners but that still doesn't cut it.
the last trade is an absolute joke. "hey your best young player is injured all the time, why don't you gift him to us? we will take care of him?"
edit: the more I think about it, the more preposterous it gets. 1 star is WAYYY too much for this.

he scores 30 goals with no center in mtl, imagine the possibility on a team that has two top flight centers. I think he would be a great fit for the ducks. Or montreal should keep him and sign a pair of centers in the off season, tavares, stasny, backlund. thorton or go after some rfa (strome, larkin, anathasiou, namesnikov). Montreal could contend with 2 centers and 1 good D. They have a solid 3rd line and 4 good wingers on top two lines. 4 th line has good parts and could tweak a little.

The Galc deal has a bunch of throw-ins with no real value i.e. Ritchie, Kossila, Holzer. Basically, it's Kase + 1st for Galc + 2nd. I'm not sure MTL will think the moving up a few spots in the draft will be worth swapping Galc for Kase. At the same time, I don't think it's a great idea to move Kase at this point. He's on the verge of breaking out and brings that work ethic we need more of in this team. I know Galc is better right now, but is it really significant enough to be worth the risk? I mean, for all we know, Kase could end up a better player than Galc.
Also, you've had to move Rakell from the #1LW position to even fit Galc in. Why? Rakell is a LW and excels in that position. Why move Rakell from a position he dominates to fit in a new player? It just sounds to me like we just don't need Galc.</div></div>
I probably like Kase more than many Ducks fans and I wouldn't make that trade. We don't particularly need him either.
Morand might be something to include, since I know Steel will cause people to have aneurysms.
Larsson or Peterssen (sp?) are considerations as well.
I don't see Galchenyuk moving without more immediate help however.

Seriously. Its the same crowd that says we should trade Pacioretty because he's no good/playoff/blah blah. Rather than focusing on what he DOES do, they only focus on what he doesn't. He's a 4.5M dollar 30+ goal scorer. But yeah ship him out. he doesn't score as much as Crosby does in the playoffs. What a bum.... :rolleyes
Galchenyuk is by no means a perfect player. He definitely has some work to do on the defensive part of the game but his offensive game is very good and considering MTL isn't in the position to just swap talented scorers away, I don't see why moving Galchenyuk for makes sense. Yeah Reinharts going to be a little cheaper and he may be a little better defensively but does he have 30 goals in him? Can he reach 60 points? Not so sure about that.
Galchenyuk isn't struggling, the management hes playing for is failing him. He is being mismanaged.

Vejdemo isn’t anything special, and trying to compare him to Lehkonen just because both played in the SHL is terrible.
Lehkonen was a top line forward posting 33pts in 45 games as a 19-20 year old for a solid playoff team (Frolunda). Lehkonen was also a beast in the playoffs , 11 goals and 19pts in 16games!!!!
Vejdemo plays on the 3rd line of an average team (Djurgardens) at 22years old. Has 9goals and 19 pts in 39games. He’s not an impact player. So I wouldn’t count on Vejdemo to make it to the NHL anytime soon, let alone think he can be a Center for the Habs next year or so.

People tend to overvalue young, unproven players.
Like I said, it would require an overpayment to get them to consider it, but even Galchenyuk 1 for 1 is a risk for Montreal.
The tendency is to forget players like Yakupov, Bennett, Strome, etc. That don't live up to potential. A proven NHLer has more value than a prospect or rookie.
50 NHL games is not enough of a sample size to make an accurate evaluation of a player, so the value still lies with the proven commodity.
No reason for Columbus to consider should Montreal come calling, but if they have interest in Galchenyuk, and Montreal was willing to add a 2nd on top, that's a legitimate overpayment and carries less risk than keeping Dubois.

Duchene has a single 30 goal season.
Pacioretty has 4 consecutive.
They have the exact same .72 p/g pace for their careers, but goals are worth more.
Same term, but Pacioretty's contract is better value.
Center I'll give you, but the age difference isn't a factor. Neither player is going to be old and gray in a year and a half, and Pacioretty is only about 2 years older to begin with. They were only drafted 2 years apart, so it's ridiculous to consider that. How about Pacioretty has 2 more years of experience?
Bottom line, Pacioretty is more valuable than Duchene right now.

Absolutely nothing. And please, a few corrections. The Leafs don't have a lot prospects, most of them these prospects on the NHL team. Leafs really only have two prospects on the Marlies. Liljgren and Bracco, the rest...aren't real prospects. The Leafs are few years for contending, they just aren't that "contending good" yet. And most sorry to inform you, salary cap is important in making all trades. This nonsense about Nashville and the cap recapture. Might be important if Weber retires, but no team is going to trade for such a cap hit hoping he retires. Sure the cap is going up, but the Leafs have lots of young players that are going to get raises base on the new cap.
Seems like 95% of expensive Dmen trades go to the Leafs. Certainly not absolutely necessary for the Leafs. No the Leafs can't be a dumping ground for contracts because some teams just to want to get rid of them, and Webers is one. And as I wrote, try putting Weber in the Leafs lineup, with considering the Leafs performance bonuses. It just doesn't work. But again it too much work for almost every Montreal fan who makes the deal. We only see the Habs roster....kinda meaningless in the Leafs cap world.</div></div>
So the Leafs need a Top 4 RHD and they can't afford one for 7.8 mil? Good luck trying sign one. If they wanted Weber they can make trades and adjust there roster to do so. Can you see he Leafs keeping JVR, Bozak, Komarov, Or Hainsey? Also Marleau can be traded on his last year. Can't see the trade happening anyways unless Marner or Nylander is coming the other way which would save from Toronto having to sign one of them. Bergevin isn't going to give up Weber the guy he traded Subban for for hopeful prospects. His job is on the line.

Babcock has openly praised Weber and claimed he would take him on his team any day (or something to that degree without tampering). So its only natural that fans looking to sell said player pick your team all the time. It helps that Toronto is close to contending, and has a boat load of prospects that they could part with. Also, Leafs may not be able to afford him with the current roster in 2 years, but the roster can change, and "want to" is your personal opinion, not your managements (which you're entitled to of course, just pointing out parts of your organization my see differently). Also, Weber is still a great shutdown defenseman with a cannon.
I know this isn't your concern, but another common one is his contract. It isn't that bad when you consider the cap going up, and Nashville is on the hook for recapture penalties. If Chara can play well, into his 40s, I wouldn't be concerned with a 32 year old for now...
