Description

Reasons
1. I am hopeful that when next season starts the world will be more or less back to the new normal, and hockey will be back.

2. A promising rookie crop (Beaudin, Mitchell, Kurashev, etc)

3. A bounce back year for Alex DeBrincat And Dylan Strome.

4. A coming out party for Alex Nylander, who had a decent *rookie* nhl season

5. Full NHL seasons for Kirby Dach and Adam Boqvist. (Can not wait!)

6. Another prime year of Toews, Kane, Keith, Seabrook, Crawford...

7. A strong sophomore season for Kubalik (for a 5th round pick?)

8. Players returning from LTIR (Shaw, Seabrook, Dehann)

9. Contract years bring out the best in players, looking at you Saad…

10. Lots of interesting decisions on the horizon for both management as well as hockey ops. Seattle expansion draft will be interesting.

When people start to doubt Keith's ability he seems to go off. But Seabrook I'm with the guys above.

This might be an unpopular opinion but I'd love to see the Hawks blow it up. Get a ton of futures out of Kane, toews, saad, Murphy, Keith, Crow, etc. and just rebuild. Grab Askarov this year as the goalie of the future. You already have at the very least a 2C is dach, likely a 1C. Grab another top C and a top LHD through the draft and through getting prospects and this team is set for years. You're not gonna contend with this core anymore, but you just might with a rebuilt roster

All of you guys are taking what I said out of context, no you didn’t read that... you just typed it.

Keith,Toews, Kane, Crawford and SEABS won us cups... they are the core... I don’t see anything wrong with being excited to see another year of that player group together.

I don't share your optimism regarding Keith and Seabrook, but totally agree with everything else. This team has more things to be excited about than people give it credit for

I think Saad would be a good candidate to dump for assets if the FO doesnt think we are competing this year. If he stays and we are a bubble team I definitely think hes gone at the deadline. Depending on who we draft, there just isnt room for him in our future top 6 and I dont want to pay him another 5-6 mil to be a 3rd line PKer

Crow is definitely the starter but beaudin will have to really impress the front office to jump offer Lucas Carlson right now. Assuming one of Maatta or De Haan are traded

Lol that sounds awesome! Any openings? But anything anyone will tell you about the hawks 5th-6th defenseman is all opinion. As of right now the LD depth would be
1. Keith
2. De Haan
3. Maatta
4. Carlson or koekkoek
5. Beaudin
