There is just too much risk their for Ghost and Patrick, the jets would have to decline that one I think.
Would definitely be a risk but I think Chevy would pull something like that off and both would turn into stars. Only way to add value to your roster is taking a risk/buying low on a player
But Connor is way better than Ehlers. So, adding Bellows doesnt kill that if youd do Pulock for Ehlers
Connor has great finishing ability and he’s a great skater, but he’s awful defensively and he’s not a good play driver. Saying ehlers is better than Connor is more about ehlers being underrated. He makes his line mates better, he’s great defensively, and he’s elite in transition.
They would consider that most likely, if you changed Wilde to a decent center (Prospect or roster player) of some sort they would accept
Otto koivula is a good center prospect, but he’s more of a 3C. Wilde is a much better prospect. His pNHLe was at a 1st line level last season after playing in Saginaw, but he suffered a high ankle sprain last summer which set him back a bit this season.

The only thing is Wilde is a LHD right? because we have Heinola and Samberg coming up and we still have Morrissey for many years. So an RHD for the future would be more beneficial
As the GM - your return would likely be a PINK SLIP from ownership returned to you in the mail; jk
* Connor for similar scorer-player to ballpark it 1:1, it's guys like: Aho, Mika, Huberdeau, Tkachuk, Couturier...
Doubt the teams would move any of those guys for Connor straight up, they are giving up the better player.
Never mind then that is solid and would accept if I was GM
The islanders used to draft defenseman that had a high IQ, but poor skating. See: griffin Reinhardt.
Wilde fell in the draft apparently because he recommitted from Harvard and Michigan , but the skill and elite skating is there. He has everything you want in a defenseman, but his decision making is questionable. Not sure how WPG is with developing defenseman, but if they can help wilde make better decisions (when to pinch, when to go for a hit etc) he can be a high end RD2.

Yeah I like him and we do a pretty good job for the most part I say, like when Morrissey came out of nowhere like 4 years ago, Niku, and now Heinola and Samberg. I've watched some film on Wilde and think he could be a Vince Dunn type of player if developed properly

Aho mika and especially SC need more than just connor because they're all elite at both ends and C's
Would love to add him to the Leafs Top 6, but doubt that -Dermott, Kapenen, Johnsson, SDA and a 1st get it done - his cap also becomes difficult but is doable
Not entirely sure how you came up with that little tidbit, last I checked he did once like 6 years ago and Maybe he gets 4 more this season in the last 11 games - he's also 30 and declining. I guess if you round up all those 20-26 goal performances than he's a 30 goal scorer

He was on pace for a 30 goal season until the season got postponed.
I was actually going to argue this point the opposite way, but career stats Connor a little more offense, Ehlers better defensively, but Connor has twice as many pts in the playoffs and Ehlers actually hasn’t scored a playoff goal. They are closer than I thought.

Yes I noted that in my comment - Bottom line 2 seasons out of 10 he gets to 30 not over it just gets there - that does not equate to a "30 Goal Scorer"
