Seattle doesn't select 3,4m Byron just because you want cap.

If not we re-sign Tatar, I would also consider swapping Evans and Poehling. I feel like Poehling has more offense

The only way RNH is leaving Edmonton is if he legitimately thinks he's worth $8M+ AAV. Anything less than that and the Oilers get a deal done around $7M.

Nonsense to think a fourth line winger, maybe a third liner at at inflated 3.4m X 2 contract can be bought off with 75th pick. Seattle can spend that cap much better.
Seems like every "homer" on this site think Seattle is going to take select 31 bad contracts

You meed someone that can play LW, score goals and have some size to play with Caulfield and Gallagher. if you move Toffoli with Gallagher that leaves Armia or Leks to play with Cailfield. I don’t think Armia and Leks can score enough goals with either Gallagher or Caulfield

Once again try reading AND understanding the discription this time. He explains that it is the view of the analysts (you know those people on the sports channel whose job it is to know these things) that a 3rd is enough to entice Seattle to select Byron. If you can't understand these facts then please feel free to not respond again. Thank you!

Do you really feel, those talking heads know what they are talking about? They appeal to the masses. They have sucked you in. Certainly it is isn't fact as you suggest, or are so gullible to so called authority figures. Sorry to have disturbed your mindless attention to the TV and radio experts.

Yes cause the guys who were former players, GM's and scouts know nothing about the NHL and hockey in general. I mean everyone on here should just shutup and listen to that stooge palhal who knows more than anyone on the planet about running successful NHL teams. Forget about Burke, Button, McGuire, Farraro, Johnsson, Mackenzie and the rest of the hockey pundits let's all listen to some whacked out meathead on Capfriendly LMAO!!!

I don't mind reading what some whacked out meathead write on CapFriendly. But I have learnt that mindless meatheads can't think for for themselves. If you want to believe everything the talking head entertainers want to say that's OK Campy. Keep believing and I'm sure you mom will bring down your dinner to you.

The problem with signing Armia, Lehkonen, to long term contracts, plus in this case signing RNH to a long term contract (or in other posts here on capfriendly resigning Danault and Tatar) is that Suzuki will need to be resigned the following year and he will probably ask for and deserve Aho type money $8.5M.
We are probably only going to resign Lehkonen and based on the fact he is playing on the 4th line this year and the cap should stay flat, Bergevin will most likely try to low ball him to a $2M bridge deal. Which means that Tatar, Danault, and Armia will be lost to free agency so that Suzuki and Romanov can be paid. The only way the Habs sign Danault or Tatar is if it is only for 1 season so that we have the 8 million in cap available when Suzuki needs to resign in 2 years.
It sucks but that is the reality of being a team on the rise, with young talented players they will eventually want to be paid.

The Ryan Nugent-Hopkins signing is a royal joke, Reportedly Ryan Nugent-Hopkin wants around 7 x $7,000,000 or 7 x $7,500,000 minimally there's no freaking way he's signing that cheaply. He'd stay in Edmonton for that low ball offer.
