What age would that be? He and Holland are on the record of retirement being a possibility. Why does his not being 40 matter?

30 years old, players who retire before then are either injured or are fringe nhlers. Klefbom is not a fringe nhler, though he could be injured, but we don't know yet.

Having Lundqvist on the list is weird, but it’s not like it has any effect on anything since he’s a UFA. It’s a good thing that other than him they chose the players whose careers are actually over.
