As someone pretending to be a Kraken fan next season, I'm not too hyped up about the appointment.

He was great in Toronto organizing the defense but his history as a HC isn't all that fantastic. Granted it might've just been because he was in Philadelphia and they're more or less experts on running the coach out of town.

I didn't really see that one coming, though it would be Quinn or Toccett or another recent head coach but still a solid hire, congrats to him and the Kraken.

Smith was probs on his way out anyway. Didnt really have a great season for a guy making 5mill.

He will probs be one of the main pieces for Eichel

Who do you guys think are the most underrated players per position?

Here are my picks:
LW: honestly I'd go with Mangiapane
C: Hintz
RW: Buchnevich

LD: Jakob Chychrun
RD: Ryan Puock

G: Philip Grubauer

So Nolan Patrick may want out of Philly

I got a feelings hes gonna end up in Vegas

as I believe their GM is his former GM when he was with the Wheat Kings

The other place Toronto

Like what happened with Chucky, Patrick could rebound nicely with the leafs. Plus could be a good replacement for Kerfoot

Doesn't do anything for them, they need a top 6 center NOW and he's likely a career 4th liner

I mean Vegas was rotating 3 borderline 3rd line centers between Stone and Pacioretty. Nolan came off injuries and had a bad year on a bad philly team. Look at his rookie season and the year after he was doing pretty well. If Vegas wants a cheap good alternative Nolan could be the guy.

The talent has to be still there; I think if Vegas can get first-line production out of Chandler Stephenson, they can buy low on Nolan Patrick.

Need some guys they can sign for cheap too. They won't shed cap in the expansion draft since they're exempt and they don't have a good reason to move anyone on a high salary.

I think Nolan has a lot to give for Vegas. I think he would be a better fit between Stone and Pacioretty then Stephenson, Roy, or Nosek were. His stats this year were bad but lets be honest did anyone in Philly besides JVR do well this year?
