Great signing for the Blue Jackets, but it's disappointing that we didn't just keep him and sign him to that. I still love this deal for Bean and the Blue Jackets as Bean may get a better opportunity on a younger rebulding team.

Second biggest signing of the day. He hasn't played enough games to know if this is a good deal or not. Does he improve this season, or have a sophomore slump?

AAV is maybe a tad high based on track record, but I think he’ll do well in the situation and justify it.

Only issue is, I think this means Peeke gets more money.

Both are 23.
Bean - 55 G: 2-11-13
Peeke: 33 G: 1-5-6.

I’d have pegged Peeke a little above $1M…I think this may push him closer to $2M. Particularly as a RD.

It’s pennies, all told, but still 🤷‍♂️

As of now, he's not worth that much, but with real minutes I think he will grow to become worth this contract by the end.
