How does he still have a job? The homeless guy I saw at the gas station the other month would probably do a better job.

And why’re you going after Gurianov when Lake Lomeau has been playing worse than the 60 year old grandpa’s that I played with in beer league the other day.

IMO it’s better than the current Leafs. McDavid+Pastrnak > Matthews+Nylander. Rantanen+Kopitar > Marner+Tavares. So forwards are much better. D is the same, if not slightly worse. Goaltending is very similar, down to the fact that both teams have very good backups who are injury-prone.


Eh, I'm going to disagree on Kopitar over Tavares.

I think my biggest problem outside of the goaltenders being worse is that the depth drops off much faster. Walker for Bunting, Fleury for Dermott, Fehérváry for Sandin, Brassard for Simmonds aren't the best tradeoffs. Definetely biased towards the current roster though.

I mean as a Stars fan I want him to stay, but if he demands a trade I’m 100% respecting his idea. If I worked at a place and my boss disrespects me and praise Joe the Pot smoker I would probably quit. That’s what’s happening to Gurianov.

Yes, but he was let go a long time ago, he was gone since 2018. And he hasn’t coached since 2019.
