I doubt he signs for more than his current contract (5.25), but Canes def aren't trading Pesce. If the FLA game was any indication he is by far our most important D-man and now that Hamilton is gone he is needed more than ever.

Are you being serious? Canes are not trading Pesce, let alone KK, for a guy on an overpriced contract who disappears in the playoffs. Holl is ok, but he is no Pesce and he will never come close to how important Pesce is. The game against Florida showed just how important and underrated Pesce is.
