I am going to say the Ducks, watching Zegras play is worth it alone.

They keep rotating Liljegren and Dermott so it is unclear who the healthy scratch is

Ya, I wouldn't read too much into that one. You can look at this a couple ways.
One - this could be Ritchie's last attempt in the top 6 before Mikheyev is healthy and could look to move Nick if he continues not to produce.
Two- are giving Dermott another shot and improve his stock, could also be traded.

Something has to give the first week of December when Mrzaek and Mikheyev come off LTIR

Who are you taking right now? I'd take Cozens because of the upside I've seen.

Zegras - Art Ross Potential
Cozens - Selke Potential

No way in hell thats intent to injure. Interference, maybe, blatant, no. Im saying its a good old fashioned hit that was a way to try get a spark. Old style hockey, like the stuff i remember watching as a teen in the 70s. good on crosby for getting more physical and not letting them push him around.

He didnt do anything wrong, if he did, he would face supplemental discipline, which he isnt facing.

Not even in the 70s would players be allowed to throw a player into the boards far behind the play like this, and because he throws him into the boards could be construed as an attempt to injury Fehervary. I wish it was the 70s for that, because then it would have been ok for Crosby to get his S*** kicked in by Wilson or someone else on the Caps.

young hockey is cool and all, but theyre too soft. More hits are needed. Its turning into a boys sport not a mans sport.

Youth hockey is played by boys so duh it’s gonna be a boys sport. I can’t speak for Canada but I can tell you that USA hockey is phasing hits out of the game for a reason. These are developing young players who 99% are only ever going to play for fun. Players at that level already make enough dumb decisions, we don’t need them making more and leading to more injuries when these are under 18 players who will almost always move onto a different job and Mens league hockey, where at least where I’m from there is no hitting. We don’t need to encourage more hitting, we need more coaches to realize that they should be a coach that helps these players develop as people, since that is going to be the biggest thing they ever get out of youth sports.

In general both Sandin-Liligren and Sandin-Dermott pairings have been excellent this year. Rotation is not a bad thing if you got 2 guys who can play really well with Sandin.

Earned when you have a 742 goals which is 0.612 goals per games played that's pretty impressive

In comparison his only competitor is Matthews who is at .591 goals per games played but is no where near his goal total being at 205 rn lul

And thats why these 2 are arguably the best goal scorers rn in the NHL along with Stamkos who despite being older still at a respectable 0.522 goals per games played.

Oh and for those who need it Gretzky was at 0.601 goals per games played

So Ottawa has postponed some games.

Dang. I was really hoping this year with everyone fully vaccinated we would be able to avoid this sort of issue. It’s unfortunate. Hopefully this is the only outbreak we see that results in postponing games

Ovi is turning into how every one of his NHL video game sims go. Randomly pulling a ton of assists out of nowhere while still keeping up a great goal total.

Updated the saying but yeah the fact he is .10 behind Gretzky who was at 0.601 is mind-blowing

Absolutely, that's why I think it makes more sense to keep Dermott and have 7 healthy NHL Dmen and try to move out Ritchie, even if they means parting with a pick or prospect. They have players that can replace Nick Ritchie.

I could see a similar thing to what Washington did to move Panik by paying a tad more to go get someone

AINT ONE PEEP FROM ANYONE TALKING ABOUT EK65, and Middleton. People love to hate Karlsson I’ve been saying the guy is still a good player despite his flaws.
