Well Brendan has been offered an in-person hearing so he will have at least a 1 game suspension i'm pretty sure

Well he plays the Flames after the next game 🥲

But I think he’s gonna get like 3-5 or something

Actual breaking important news

Larry Brooks (not a rando, NYR) has indicated there is an EASTERN CONFERENCE *KEY WORD* interested; in Evander Kane.

It is NOT the NYR, but there is an intent to atleast discuss or ponder the move. This is not; happening/ guaranteed, or indications of a trade. But there is discussion.

PURELY SPECULATION; the only GM that could (if I was a betting man) rein in Kane would be Lou…

The Isles are struggling.. wouldn’t it be funny.

You’d probably lose that bet - Lou wants nothing to do with locker room cancers

How about teams with established cores? Pittsburgh or Capitols, maybe Tampa (injuries to point and Kucherov)

Oh it’s definitely a joke - but the only GM/ staff that would succeed (since despite the hate, Wilson/ the Sharks are a strong internal team) now is Lou/ Trotz, RBA/ Waddell and Boston and then rest are gambles imo (and even than those 3 are already huge gambles).

I’d consider NYI established, but idk if Tampa can fit him unless they move key locker room guys like Killorn etc, Pitt maybe Burke is crazy enough, and the Caps I think are doing too well to adjust what they have.

I was thinking Pittsburgh to get more scoring and draft capitol and Crosby, Malkin, Letang, Carter, and the test can probably deal with Kane's lockeroom stuff. Their core is probably one of the most established. Another key IMO is Pittsburgh had lots of playmakers who wouldn't care giving Kane the chance to score.

I think Kane is a lost cause at this point. He’s set in his ways. The team that wants to acquire him doesn’t have a strong culture IMO. It’s probably a team that is looking at his production from last year and ignoring Kanes problems.

I do think Pitt is a team to consider the more yah think on it. Burke is kinda wild; and if Crosby (the guy literally holds the most weight per word in the NHL I’d say) talks to Kane/ team meetings, that is a good team that could commit to Kane while taking on free assets + a near elite winger with retention.

It definitely will be interesting - because he’s back in 2 days and there’s still no comment from the team on what’s gonna happen.

If Vasy doesn't slightly lift the net, that's not a goal but you need some great accuracy to fit it in that hole

Such a precise shot while being on the move... That's probably one of those shots that go in once over 100 attempts.

So you have to believe they have a GM in place already, although they could just have Gorton as the interim GM in the meantime if they don’t. (Assuming the GM hiring process was expedited by the Gorton & Mellanby stuff)

Your likely right. Gorton will be Interim GM until one is found. Rumours are it will be a rookie GM with strict supervision from Gorton.
