You don't NEED a 22man roster tho. If you wanna roll the dice on injuries etc you can run less. Wouldn't be surprised if Vegas finishes the season with a 20/21 man roster.

In general Toronto has been using a 21 man team since 2019

-Jordan Eberle and Jaden Schwartz are both DTD for the Kraken

-Mitch Marner collided with Jake Muzzin in practice and may not play tonight against the Wild, but Keefe says it doesn't look like anything serious and it would only be precautionary

-Nic Dowd and Trevor Van Riemsdyk are both in COVID protocol

-Connor Murphy has been put in concussion protocol by the Blackhawks after Ovi annihilated him on Thursday

-There is no official timeline for Darcy Kuemper's return, although it doesn't appear to be a long-term thing, as Bednar said he could still play on the Avs' current road trip

-Bowen Byråm re-injured his head (not concussion) 2 games into his return and is out again for the Avs

-Ilya Mikheyev back at practice for the Leafs, Mike Smith, Darnell Nurse and Devin Shore are all skating again for Edmonton

-Mike Hoffman has been activated off IR by the Habs

-Quinton Byfield is practicing again

-Joel Farabee's injury is a Grade II AC sprain in his shoulder. The typical recovery from the injury is up to six weeks.

-Nikita Kucherov skated for the first time since his injury, and is on track to return at some point in the next month (YES)

-No update yet on Jakub Zboril for the Bruins

-Igor Shesherkin has been put on IR by the Rangers, but is not expected to be out for more than a week
