Team: 2021-22 Minnesota Wild
Initial Creation Date: Dec. 18, 2021
Published: Dec. 21, 2021
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
- Pavelski rental. Waives ntc to make a cup run. The pick could be 3rd with less money retained.
- Fischer and Chychrun, big move (not sure if that package does it or what) just an idea. Chrychrun is on a very valuable deal for a player of his caliber and could help through "cap hell thru the next couple of years. Move greenway, Addison, Dewar, Johannson, Hunt to give them solid youth and Rask for cap reasons. 1st, 2 2nds, and a 5th. Fischer could resign on a favorable deal as well being an RFA. Could also be a plausible move with the flaring Spurgeon injury.
-Move on from Fiala drama to get a real solid C in Strome who could resign if can make the numbers work. (going to make a continuation of this)

Was working on this before JEE injury, now I believe that they make a push to get another top C in exchange for Fiala. I like Strome's game and think he could fit well in between Zuc and Kap. Also, believe this calls for Rossi's call-up.

Would like input not negative talk trashing the ideas. Just respectful thoughts. This Wild team is promising and Billy G needs to find a way to make a deep push this year, while being warry of the coming years.

IMO with the pace Pavelski is scoring at, I could see him getting a 1st for 50% retention

If not more, also NYR wouldn’t need the retention and can hands down beat the 2nd

I would keep Fiala, play Pavelski at 2C

Not a bad idea. I just really like Strome's game and think he could be a piece we could try to bring back if the numbers work.

You’re for sure robbing Dallas. First round pick minimum.
I think you’re getting robbed by the rangers.
Then you’re back to your robbing ways. Lot of pieces going Arizona’s way, but they’re all fluff.

I don't see why the Rangers would have any interest in that, they have plenty of wingers, Strome has chemistry with Panarin, they're flush with wingers and are making the playoffs barring a meltdown.

As much as everyone in the Rangers fandom likes to subscribe to the "Strome is good on his own" feel-good narrative, he would be half the player he's been with the Rangers if he went elsewhere.

Let's see... If Guerin trades Fiala for Strome AND adds, he has lost his mind. Fiala is an RFA, after all.

I also think you have underpaid Chychrun. ARI is looking more quality rather than quantity and that offer will 100/100 get bettered by someone.

Well this doesn't work since you will have about 3 million to sign 8 players next season.
The Strome trade is gross IMO.
Not a fan of the AZ trade either. Chychrun is fantastic but he is hurt a lot, so no thank you.

1st Round Pick + good prospect for Pavelski. At roughly a PPG, he’ll be arguably the hottest commodity on the TDL market for contending teams looking for offense (retention isn’t a problem for Dallas).

Small note - He also doesn’t have a NMC. Only had one on the first 2 years of his contract with the Stars.

Not a fan of that AZ deal. I’d rather keep Addison and the 1st than give him up. Those 2 pieces are the non starters in my opinion. If someone with term like dumba were going to as I could see the trade, but otherwise that trade doesn’t make long term sense to me.
