It’s optimistic but if you’re a player and hockey is your job - it’s rightful that you shouldn’t be allowed to attain the highest “position” based your track record of being a poor human towards others.

There are grey area such as Maillioux but indefinite suspensions for Hrabik for example, or the Penetta guy (can’t recall his name) being banned would be rather large in terms of punishments fitting the “crime”.

14 of the 30 have come on the PP. And his 22.1% shooting percentage (SH%) is significantly higher than his 14.7% career average. Will be interesting to see if he keeps this pace up.

The Rangers are playing above their capabilities, their overall numbers are not very good. If there is a team I could see having a rough second half of the season, it’s NYR.

Not trying to take anything away from his season but a regression is certainly possible.

Kreider is both fascinating and confusing in the analytics/eye test/skill community

As realistically his playstyle should not be equating to this amount of goals

Yet everything seems to be going his way this year lul

Yeah 100%, but it's admirable that he managed to get a new career-high in goals before the possible regression kicks in.

All of the goals I have seen is just him in front of the net picking up rebounds and nice passes from his teammates. No outside shots at all

Brendan Lemieux got ejected vs the Rangers, cross-check to the back into the boards by him, he’s definitely earning himself the reputation of that 4th line guy that gets dirty and suspension, he’ll probably run himself out of the league
