Bob Boughner just so happens to “break” James Reimer (13 unnecessary straight games) is just a classic move by this goon. He’s done a lot for the Sharks but also some glaring wrongs.

Sawchenko deserves an NHL showcase for a team no where near a playoff spot. But not like this - maybe 6 games ago and giving Reimer some rest.


Babcock was famous for that with Anderson. We had a god in net with McElhinney nah lets play Freddie to death...

Like McElhinney easily could have handled 25 + games for us but nope run Freddie out there for 66 games a season...

And for the playoffs a tired starter = doom

Not gonna lie charts like these make Hagel more and more tempting. As being second in TOI against elite competition and making a strong impact is not something to ignore. Could really see Hagel doing damage in our top 6 on both the score sheet and defensive impact. Sure its gonna be expensive but Hagel-Tavares-Nylander could be fire.

Hard to tell, the edge of the puck seems to be on the red line, I’d say inconclusive so no goal

“A couple of big signings” when’s the last time we got a big FA fish, Cammalleri and Gionta in 09? While we could be close to having a playoff/competitive team, we’re not exactly close to having a cup contending team, also when Ducharme was HC we literally all wanted a rebuild, but now that MSL has coached 10 games, we’re suddenly on the cup track again?

So ik this is really random, but with Ovechkin being in the spotlight rn and me stumbling across this memory, I thought I'd share a cool story here.

About 6 years ago, my family moved. In the basement of the new house, we found a whole bunch of old hockey memorabilia, including a framed, mint Ovechkin Autograph along with a certificate of authenticity, a Toronto Star newspaper from the day after Paul Henderson's historic game winning goal in the Summit Series, and a Johnny Bower Autograph, again with a certificate of authenticity. We found these among other things, but these were by far the coolest
