Scheifele as a top 5 player in the league? Off the top of my head: McDavid, Matthews, MacKinnon, Draisaitl, Crosby, Kucherov, Point, Barkov are all centers that are easily better than him. Adding in top defensemen (Makar, Hedman, Fox, etc) and wingers (Panarin, Kaprisov, Pasta, Rantanen, etc) and there are like 20 skaters I would take over Scheifele.

😂 wow Winnipeg fans are overvaluing themselves. Scheifele is not a top 5. Morrissey is not a top 10😂 wow. All these trades are waaayy overpriced, favoured for winnipeg. Only thing arguable for being top of the league is your goalie.

Even if that was true, the pens have quite a few of those players already. They aren’t going to pay for that awful contract regardless of how good he may be as a leader/locker room presence.

Confirmed anywhere no, have I heard this from a very good source... yeah, Wheeler really isn't the leader the organization and local media has framed him to be.

Lol.. that's interesting but I'm guessing thats Wiecek more just reacting to Stastny giving some money to the trucker convoy and having an opinion about mainstream media and the narratives they're selling cause its just unacceptable to not eat up and buy into what they're telling you don't ya know...

It's funny that the local media all spoke highly of Stastny for years but once they found out his politics didn't align with what they're writing they changed their tunes about him, they're such two faced hypocrites.
