Noel + Gildon and a 2023 1st. I feel like Denisenko or Tippett is too much for a rental

Quoting: justaBoss
I think they need to include Tippett to win that bidding war. We know Avs will also make an offer and probably others too.

i dont think the bidding war is going to get crazy. a first a 2nd and a 3rd is def alot for a top tier rental. dont see it going beyond that. i dont see tippett being sent for a rental.

Now that the sharks signed Hertl, they need to be very creative in acquiring high upside young players who have lost some value...Brannstrom, Valimaki etc..

That sounds fair. More than 8 would be an overpayment in my mind.

Logan Couture: 6 years x 8M
Tomas Hertl: 8 years
Erik Karlsson: 6 years x 11.5M
Brent Burns: 4 years x 8M
MEV: 5 years x 7M

Assuming Hertl is going to get around 8.5, that's more than 50% of their cap space for 5 players

i think it lands somewhere between 8 and 10% of the cap. with cap going up to 90m ide be shocked if it wasnt more than 8.

Was hoping the Leafs would have been in on him. Curious to see what he goes for

Maybe a swap of him and Comtois?

great to see doug wilson learned from his mistakes of signing players to high salary contracts into their late 30s.

I mean Hertls gonna be great for the next 4-5 years. But the guys got two blown knees and expecting him to be worth 8m in 6 years is a joke and way to high of an expectation on literally not the player; but two ****ing blown knees..

Awesome for Tommy tho. And hey; maybe we can do something within the next 5 seasons lmfao..

Perreault is on waivers

Wonder if the Jets pick him up

But hes not a bad depth piece on a cup team and is making under a mill.
