Suzuki (1C)
Dvorak (2C)
Poehling (3C)
Evans (3C)
Pitlick (3C, but he's been playing like a 2C)
if they all hit their potential
so i mean wright/cooley/savoie would be great as a fallback plan if dvorak cant be the 2C that he needs to be
No. Potential for the Habs:
Suzuki = top line
Dvorak = 3rd line
Poehling = 4th line
Evans = between 3rd and 4th line
Pitlick = winger.
1 of Wright/ Cooley is a need.
Habs prospect needs: 1st line LW, 2nd line C, 1st pair LD, 1st pair RD, #1 Goalie.
Random fact I just calculated: Jaro Halak costs 1,000,000 times more than a Costco hotdog and drink. I’d honestly rather have just 1 Costco hotdog and drink than Halak
He made 14 saves on 15 shots tonight. Or would you rather no saves?
Have to think if Lindholm was in the 6 mill range, Anaheim would’ve re-signed him
According to my trusted sources, the ducks and lindholms camp agreed on money, but not on term. Anaheim wanted 6 years, while lindholm was amendment for 8. So Anaheim decided to invest thier time in a trade.

To the point of someone saying that NYR should use Lundkvist to strengthen the team now.
I agree to an extent, but since Lundkvist is such a prominent prospect I'd want for high level strengthening personally.
Spending Lundkvist - a former first round pick with totals that would justify him being drafted even higher, producing at a record breaking level in SHL as a junior, in exchange to a 3rd line winger and adding a 2nd to it is just WAY overboard for a guy like Lehkonen.
NYR is stacked with RHDs yes, but Lundkvist is also great prospect material, and plays the prime position of RHD - they should go after a top-6 piece easily.
Someone like Brock Boeser for example.
They woudlnt be able to pay him his qo. That's the thing.
Seravalli said it in this article (that they agreed on AAV, but not term): https://www.dailyfaceoff.com/seravalli-ducks-hampus-lindholm-becomes-top-blue-line-trade-target-%f0%9f%8e%af/

I still understand why didnt Boston move DeBrusk in the Lindholm deal would have saved them a 2nd. Or heck included him and the pick and got Rakell back
That actually woudlve been interesting. But they need him on the wing
What a game. But the Lightning have nobody but themselves to blame. They took 6 penalties, the final one coming with 2:15 left in a 1-1- game, a high-stick on Cernak (and it was the right call,he clipped him up high). You CANNOT, under any circumstances, take a penalty with under 5 minutes left in a 1-1 game.
But they killed off 1:59-ONE MINUTE AND 59 SECONDS-of the penalty, and then give up the game-winning PP goal IN THE LAST FREAKING SECOND-
Lord, that was frustrating.
Hey! I don't wanna hear this. If anything it's us(Habs fans) that should be frustrated, that tampa stole our cup for the 1st time in my lifetime.
We could have won a cup, but it didn't happen. And im frustrated from these 3 things:
#1: Cap Circumvention
#2: Vasilevskiy with too big equipment
#3: Kucherov for being stupid.
Devils went 0-3 on the Western Canadian Road Trip
They lost every game 6-3
Goaltending is so bad🤦♂️
Care to intereset you in hart, Veaina, and should've been 2 stanley cups, and a conn Smythe trophies. for the mere price of Jack Hughes and MacKenzie blackwood?

You’re delusional.
It’s not cap circumvention. It sucks that the Bolts won the cup, but you coming up with random excuses to try to say that they unfairly won is sad. The fact that a Bolts fan mentions something that doesn’t remotely have anything to do with the habs and you get upset over stupid petty stuff means you need to get over it. The Lightning of the last 2 years are probably the best NHL team ever, so it’s not surprising they won 2 cups.
And if anyone should be upset at being robbed by Tampa Bay it’s the Islanders, the team who lost to them in the conference finals in each of the last 2 years, and weren’t steamrolled like Montréal was in the Finals.

youre right on #1, but #2 and #3 are ridiculous. habs lost because they were in way over their heads.
