Gregor is gonna show dazzle at Worlds. That’s my bet; the guy is primed to take the next step in his development and if stumbles I’ll be surprised.

NHL Draft Lottery tomorrow! Bobcat205 are you hoping that Chicago's pick moves up for the unprotected 2023 1st?

Hoping the sabres can jump to 2! That would be awesome, grab Nemec and at 16 and wherever FLA is forwards.

I SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO hope the Blackhawks win the draft (1 or 2) and have to give up their 2023 pick

If I had to guess:
1) Montreal - Wright
2) Arizona - Cooley
3) Seattle - Nemec
4) Philly - Slafkovsky
5) Devils - Savoie
6) Columbus - Jiricek
7) Ottawa - Kemell
8) Detroit - Lekkerimaki
9) Buffalo - Nazar
10) SJ - Gauthier

That's likely. But also boring.

Is this by team needs? Which I could get.

For me BA top 10 is:
Cooley
Wright
Nemec
Nazar
Jiricek
Slafkovsky
Savoie
Lambert
Lekkerimäki
Kemell

We like who we like

Edit:
My bad, forgot to reply to you

Yeah. But I could totally see a team taking Kemell higher and someone like Savoie dropping due to size

Don’t watch the Ducks game so makes sense if you see it differently than me.

He just sounded great over the radio. Would be it overall poor coaching or more of just those in game decisions/ line ups?

The line up decisions are the thing that stand out most of the time. For example (just this season):
-Put Zegras on a line with Grant for a long stretch. Then even with Grant and Mayhew. Prior on the season Deslauriers
-Benches Zegras (and Milano) near the end of the right games instead of letting him (/them) learn
-Let’s guys like Zegras, Milano play less than Grant, etc. at times
-Didn’t give Comtois much of a chance (you could say he set him up to fail) and let AHLers play instead of him
-Called Zegras frail, tired and claimed he hit a wall (after a game with Mayhew and Grant)
-Splits up duos / lines that actually make an impact in favour of skilled players paired with 4th liners

He also scratched Terry multiple times in 20/21.

Some bad tactical decisions are:
-He lets the team sit back after 1-0 sometimes
-Eakins almost always plays for overtime in close games

Seems realistic. I think we'll see some surprises early on which are unpredictable most of the time.

The Ducks have the 10th pick btw.

More like OEL for Karlsson. Can't see Burns waiving.

Remember when Nashville gave Colton Sissons a 7 year contract for being a good middle-6 guy?

What's stopping Columbus from doing that for Jack Roslovic? He's doing a fine job at playing in our middle-6, why not lock up the hometown boy long term at a smaller cap hit than most 7 year deals?

What would you give him, 4x7, that's a bit too risky imo

Prediction for Ottawa. They miss out on all the good UFA, Trade options and then go and overpay to acquire either Nyquist or JVR

if the feedback i got from folks like Claesson4Norris and sensonfire on my last ACGM is anything to go by, Ottawa's probably not gonna go after Gus. Who knows, maybe the front office sees something in him that the fans don't?

So how about

Arizona Coyotes
Oliver Ekman-Larsson
Brock Boeser

Vancouver Canucks
Andrew Ladd
Nick Ritchie
Dysin Mayo
2022 1st rd pick (higher of CAR or COL picks)
2023 2nd rd pick
2024 7th rd pick

Just to correct some wrongs lol

I can't see the Coyotes paying that, they are just entering their rebuild, they won't trade prime futures for veterans

Is he not a good player? I figure he can give up 50pts , some speed and penalty kill

He's definitely a good player, and at $2,750,000 he's an absolute steal, but it was shot down.

Now that i think about it (and reread sensonfire's usual very blunt response) it was more of the trade than Gus himself (I offered Gus at half-retention for Vitaly Abramov, your 2022 2nd round pick and a 2024 3rd round pick).
