Yet another person who believes that Petry has negative value. I bet you also believed that Chiarot, Kulak and Lehkonen had negative value too right ? Sheesh......Petry got off to a bad start for sure but finished with 25? points in 35? games (numbers might be off by 1 or 2) under MSL. On track again for his usual 40+ point season under MSL. But yet.....he's a cap dump right......get off my post
There are several reasons Petry is not right for Wings.
One he is 34 and rebuilding teams do not trade 22 and 25 year old players for that.
Two he makes way more than what he brings to the rink at this point in his career.
Three Wings need LHD and a Center not another RHD and prospects that are not better than in system currently
Four Habs in cap hell, and Wings being a division rival is not helping a team with their cap issues. This is just common sense. If Habs want out of Petry's deal, there are few teams who can eat it and it will cost. Sorry that is just common sense.
Wings need a RHD if Hroenk is traded, that is better defensively. And be serious Petry in his career is a minus for most of his career.
Lastly Wings may trade Zadina and or Hronek it will.be to improve areas of need, not trade a 25 year old RHD for a 34 more expensive RHD. If Zadina and Hroenk are traded they will be for young players not older players.
And if you do not like the comments that people post on ACGM, then do not post. Just shows me you are not mature enough to take opposing ideas.
