Boston definitely doesn’t do that. Don’t know enough about the Wings prospects. Rangers probably say no because they can’t extend. The Carolina, CBJ, Ottawa, Philly, and Pittsburgh deals seem fair minus maybe 1 piece. NJ and Toronto decline also probably

Canuck fans are so funny.....JT is the best player on earth......we must trade JT......any trade for him we want the moon and the starts....but we must trade him. Every team declines.

That's not close, that deal would only be done if Canucks are desperately trying to move Miller, which probably won't happen under JR.

I don't see why the Toronto gets a 3rd? Otherwise I would do it

Trades like this happen all the time. One team gives a high pick and the other gives a lower pick. Leafs need some sort of picks this draft. So they give their 1st but need a 3rd back. Makes the deal more fair.

While the original deal isn’t close, it’s closer than a 1st, 3rd, and Frederic. Lysell and a 1st is pretty fair but probably doesn’t make sense for Boston

No. 1st, 3rd, and young NHL player is far closer. That’s kind of in line with what a lot of rentals get. Its not enough, but the other offer is legitimately unprecedented.

It would have to be a better player than Frederic. But yeah the original offer is definitely an overpay. If Carlo is involved it’s probably him and a 2nd at most

Also assuming Miller came with an extension what would you see as a realistic offer from Boston (or any other team)? I’m not sure if they have the money to extend him but curious what you think his value is if he wasn’t a rental

TO ALL CANUCKS FANS - please re-evaluate your miller asks. he is getting MAXIMUM one first rounder and ONE blue chip prospect.

For leafs deal that means -

Sandin OR Niemela
1st rounder
B prospect or 2nd rounder

I'm interested if you remove 2023 2nd round pick (OTT) but first I need to know :

What kind of extension Miller comes up with?

Tkachuk - Norris - Batherson
Miller - Stutzle - Brown
Formenton - Pinto - Joseph/White
