PLD walks in 2 years.

PLD ruins the tank. This year's draft has below average/have more question marks than usual.
2023 has 7-8 centres that can be better than Slaf on the LW if put there. You don't throw away that Florida unprotected pick so easily. Guhle isnt being moved.

I saw this proposed Dubois trade and personally, I would not do it. Guhle and that 1st are going to be very valuable to our long term success. From the reports I have seen, Guhle's most often NHL comp is Weber with more speed and better offense. I don't know about you but if we had had Weber at 20-28 I wouldn't be trading him for just about anything. That 2023 1st since it is not lottery protected and Florida is going to have a lot of roster turnover that could just end up being a top 10 pick. You would be hard pressed for me to give up that so easily as well.

Trading Dufour or Beau for Anderson is a non starter lmao. Trading both and a pick is completely one sided in favor of Montreal.

Guhle is a lefty so the Weber comp doesn’t make that much sense. Also isn’t Weber way bigger than Guhle?

A late first, an LD prospect the Jets don't need and an average 3C equals an easy no from Winnipeg.

The Jets would get a late first and a prospect they want in 2 years at the TDL for PLD as a pure rental, so nothing here makes the Jets move him now.

100th time

The only person who thinks it's a good idea to trade anything of value for Anderson is Stefen Rosner. An online blogger who has zero ties to the front office.

Every time this trade is proposed, I hope Stefen Rosner suffers a sudden bout of violent diarrhea... and he's stuck in traffic.

If Montreal has Suzuki and is going to draft Wright why would they trade for Dubois? Creating a logjam up the middle doesn’t seem like the best asset management.

Islanders get ABSOLUTELY fleeced in the first deal Beauviller is already better than Anderson who’s an overpaid third liner not to mention trading the best QMJHL player and a 2nd in the deal that is comedy at its peak

How is Josh Anderson so overrated, just saw a report on twitter that the Isles are interested and 13th overall could be involved

Many insiders like Seravalli are reporting that Anderson has a lot of value and Beauvilier is being shopped to move cap space. Your GM traded Toews for 2 2nds in a cap crunch. If you thik Beau is going for much then you dont know.
I agree Islanders dont need Anderson when they are clearing cap but many teams are calling.

He's not overrated. He's underrated by random internet posters here that are calling him overpaid 3rd liner when Lebrun has an article on the Anderson interest and Seravalli, both NOT random ppl but with connections are quoted as saying a few times the Habs have already received high offers but they want more.

I dont think he'll be traded because hes too unique a player for the Habs and they cant just strip it all down, Depends if they can move Petry and Armia's contracts for value. If not they may be forced to deal Anderson. They have a cap crunch coming in 2023 and Hughes is not Lou in that he actually plans out the long game.

Josh has more value than Petry atm which I think is crazy but that's the reality as GMs love Josh's game that they will outbid each other

It’s a mediocre comparison is all I’m saying. Weber is a 6-4 righty and I don’t c how u compare the two players.
