If its not via trade but via buyout and cheap signing im fine with Murray as a backup

Was kind of hoping we would have MAF/Murray for 2022-2023

Honestly if it’s with 50% retention and he has a fine tandem partner I’m fine. Just please don’t get him at full price or have him in a tandem with Mrazek or freaking Woll.

Eh, the Leafs could really use a centre. But Mateychuk falling that far would be crazy, and there’s far less risk with him imo. I still think one of Ostlund, Kulich, or Gaucher will be available at 25, or they’ll trade down and pickup LDBB, Beck, or Bystedt plus another asset. I just had a run on centres, and was one short because I had Kasper going to Chicago, and Detroit going a little off the board to take Nazar.
