It feels a lot more aggressive when it is your proposal that is being ripped apart. But as someone who isn't the proposer or the critic in this case, IT COULD BE A LOT WORSE. Trust me. Some times these guys are ruthless.

My advice is to just listen to what some of these people are saying. Most of the guys commenting right now are on here EVERY DAY, I recognize their names, and I would recommend listening to them without being too combative. They are very comprehensive in their approach to proposing and critiquing trades, using real life trade comparisons, statistics, and trending valuations from right here on CapFriendly. You're doing fine, my guy. Don't get so worked up on here. It isn't worth it.

-Nobody says yes to this first trade. Nylander's contract term doesn't fit Arizona's timeline - he's only got 2 years left and they are clearly more than 2 years away. If you don't think he's on the first plane out of Sky Harbor on 7/1/2025, I don't know what to tell you. Plus, Muzzin is unlikely to waive his NTC to go play in a 5000 cap arena when he's currently playing on a Cup contender about an hour from where he was born.

-Simmonds hilariously has a 10-team NTC on his $900K, I wonder if Philly is on that list? Beyond that, I don't know if Philly is in the position to be giving up any sort of assets for a 34 year old bottom-6 forward - they *should* be rebuilding, even if Chuck Fletcher hasn't seen that memo yet.

-Chicago has at least seen the memo that Fletcher's missed and is in full teardown mode. I don't think giving up a 5th and 24 year old Taylor Raddysh for a 30 year old Justin Holl is the type of move they should be making right now.
