Did you miss the part about doing right by the player? They’d like to give him the opportunity to play in the NHL somewhere. I anticipate the return would be future considerations anyway.

I anticipate the return to be a conditional 7th

I mean he’s on waivers today, so if he ends up getting traded then the only advantage will be the ability to send him down, which is what they’re trying to avoid anyway. I actually wouldn’t be surprised if Ottawa got him, at least Simmonds can win a fight, unlike Watson lol, and I feel like he’d be a good mentor for Kastelic.

People got mad when I said this is probs gonna be one of the best 4th line we have had since 1993.


So to all I ask name a 4th line between 1993-2023 that was better in Leafs history when compared to the potential of ZAR-Kampf-Kubel.

That 4th line was okay but in comparison to ZAR-Kampf-Kubel it looks weaker. As looks like a 4th line where they can each put up more than 5 points and contribute more than just fighting. This line has the most efficient forechecker, a solid defensive minded wing who can battle for the puck, and a 2-way C who at times surprised people.

Wouldnt surprise me if each has 20+ points at the end of the season and make top lines around the league groan with frustration

He doesnt really need to trade anyone until Liligren is back and its most likely gonna be Holl. As rn they got Dahlstrom and Benn going to LTIR along with Liligren

Benn, Liligren and Dahlstrom going to LTIR and with emergency call up they can technically do 21.
