To say COL says no is an understatement. There is one guy on VAN roster that gets COL to consider moving Byram and it isn’t a pending UFA. Hard fast and very emphatic no.

yep, goalies are weird, Demko hasn't been good, not giving what looks like our best future D and a first for that

This is a true statement that can be backed up with Yost's latest article on TSN, but Kallegren has legit been better than Demko so far. Not saying it's how it'll remain but you don't jettison your goalie during such a bad stretch, while undergoing a full scorched earth rebuild and get this kings ransom.

I have to assume you don't watch the Leafs and have no clue how good Liljjgren has been in his return... or how Kallgren has been far better than we could have expected by simply showing up to play and giving the Leafs a fighting chance in each game. He's not the goaltender we want for the full season (still improving as a player) but he's done his job.
Or, you do watch the Leafs and think we wouldn't notice how bad this deal is.
Leafs are absolutely not getting fleeced with this deal.

Think everyone else has said everything that needs to be said on the idea of the Bo swap. Give us Pettersson for our 2C and we'll send you Byram and the '23 1st as well. Sound ludicrous? Then you have an idea of what this sounds like!
