If Horvat takes a fair market extension and it doesn't stop us from keeping Larkin then yeah absolutely.

Detroit declines. Not giving up a potential lottery pick.

no point for the canes to make that trade and separate skjei and pesce when they play so well together, nothing in that package is too interesting to a competing team

Ooo fun! Our top FA signing a couple months back for a way off 2nd and a cap dump +

Love it

We’ll give you a 2023 3rd and BO Groulx for Demko!

Fine. Demko for mittelstadt, Anderson, a 4th, and I have to assume the antidote for the poison you just drank.

I wouldn't trade that 1st it is going to be a lottery pick. What do you consider a fair market extension?

Blowing it up rarely gets good results but man the Canucks have to do something with the core players. Expecting a bounce back is just crazy. the Bubble playoffs were an outlier and the team was never really that good.

We signed Ryan Strome to a five-year deal because he was exactly what we were looking for. Why in the world would we give him up for two years of the declining Pearson, an AHLer, and an over-the-horizon second?

For that package, we'll give you Sam Carrick, because it helps you with your cap situation.

Wings won't give up a lotto pick for a pending UFA, not a playoff team yet with or without Horvat

Fair market extension for Horvat is probably 8x7.5m, But i agree with not giving up a potential lottery pick.

Trading Horvat, Boeser, and DEMKO and only returning one first round pick would be horrific.

I mean yeah if the deadline shows up and we're garbage then yeah don't trade it but if we're better then I'm all for trading the 1st and Bert and replacing him with Horvat. Move Copp to wing which is where he should be anyways.
