Nick jensen is worth more than a bottom pairing RD in Holl and a 3rd round pick.

The Reilly trade is doable. I don't see WSH taking that offer. I'm not sure about giving up on Robertson for Heinola. Vatrano deal I'm completely against

Caps could get a 1st for Jensen, a bottom pair defensemen and 3rd won't do it.

I'd wager only Boston says yes. It's not far off but not enough, well Winnipeg seems to be getting the better player there but it's a decent hockey move. Maybe both players find a better shot and really make a run for themselves. I don't hate it.

Rielly isn't a 3 million dollar defenceman, no thanks.

If you could turn Holl into Jensen for a 3rd, you would definitely run with it. Has to be a 2nd and a prospect to get him and probably keep Holl. Gives you a lot of good options on defence. Holl as your #4 RD if you can afford the cap is a luxury.

So Verbeek signed Vatrano in UFA last summer. And you think he'll trade him for rental Kerfoot and some guy named Googlev? How does this make sense for Anaheim? They're not exactly short of talented young forwards.

This would really help Verbeek in signing future UFA's. "Here sign with my team. Then I'll ship your ass out for a bucket of chicken a few months later."

But I forgot. It's all about improving the Leafs. Who cares about other team's needs, right?

We didn't sign Frank Vatrano just to trade him after 19 games, especially since he looks like he's going to be exactly what we expected him to be. Plus your value is way off: three years of Vatrano is worth more than a rental and an undrafted Russian shot-in-the-dark, especially if you think that he's good enough to play with Tavares and Nylander.
