Leafs decline. Would probably do the 3rd straight up, not adding in Niemela

Don't know how many times sabres fans can tell Canucks fans that we don't want Myers back before they stop trying to trade him back.

    That’s a reasonable Myers trade,
but the Sabres won’t be interested

Realistically, he costs a pick to move. Future considerations at best. He’s pretty brutal and a 6M cap with only 1M still isnt great. If they’re tearing it down (which they are) Van is better off just keeping him and possibly selling at the last year of his contract at 3M retained.

There is no realistic way to trade Schenn for that much. He's a replacement player and Niemela is a good prospect

    I think you’re right there

I think a lot of fans think they can tear down a team & rebuild it in a year or two
Well that’s just rarely the case, as we’ve discovered

Takes some time (usually) to do it right

While most Sabre ACGMs think Myers will never be a Sabre you are correct for only $1,000,000 actual cash it fits the Pegula pocket book.
On the other hand, Bishop came with a draft pick, maybe Myers is gifted to Buffalo, who knows.

Not to mention Walker+Spacek are pieces we shouldn’t be trading.

No chance the Kings give that up for Demko. Remove the first is more realistic. Demko is playing just as bad as Petersen. Demko might have been good the passed few seasons but who knows how he is going to be once he returns from IR. They are 1 year apart in age and Petersen has one year less on his contract, so if the Kings are going to take a risk on a goalie why would they pay so much for a guy with an extra year on his contract and coming back from injury? Kings say remove the first and they will consider it otherwise pass.

The Kraken will still have plenty of cap flexibility next year, they aren't going to be giving up a 2nd rounder to move Wennberg for nothing in return.

Seattle in control of their destiny. Francis wise.
Vancouver in complete panic and management group worse

Vancouver has only 12 games before the trade deadline. Demko won't be able to prove 100% recovery from his hip injury and surgery by then, and no GM in his right mind would invest significant assets before being convinced on that point.
