So Florida clinches today, as of writing this comment, Winnipeg is on their way to clinching a spot too. NYI and Pittsburgh looks like the final fight and NYI just needs to not out-Pittsburgh Pittsburgh

any other year he'd probably win it, but Mcdavids point totals will probably give him the edge even though tkachuk is the better 5v5 producer.

The tkachuk trade is turning out to be a fleece.

True. Pettersson peaked in his rookie season and clearly is washed after last season. He would never even hit 70 points because he sucks and should have been traded a long time ago

If he was on a competent team, he should run away with the Selke. 100 points + elite defense. Too bad the Canucks are a dumpster fire

Sure you can argue that but playing well in your own division is arguably the best division to play well in since they play Pacific division teams slightly more. It is arguably an advantage

Best offensive penalty killer w/o a doubt. Actual pk needs a little work.

Can Matheson and the Canadiens help send Petry to the playoffs?

He's 5th in points and tied for 12th in Goals. Probably will finish top 5 in Hart voting this year. His numbers are great but they're not MVP caliber this year or in recent years.

Canucks defense is bad enough with 5 players on the ice. Can't expect much when there are only 4 players. Also PK is probably the hardest to judge a player individually because it is a total team effort. Might help to have actual good penalty killers for once
