Probably not. Columbus needs a 1c, and Fantilli can be just that

value wise it's not horrible, but this draft is too good to give up any top 3 picks for someone not named McDavid

I doubt any team with a top 15 pick in 2023 will be willing to move it. But it's fun to think about.

Not a chance. Every one of those assets could turn into nothing far more easily than any of them turn into any kind of legitimate NHL talent. The top end picks in this draft are all being talked about as certain top line forwards at some point in their career. I tried to propose 3 picks in the range of 5-9th OA from this draft to try to move up to 2nd and people said no to that. That's how much people want the top picks this year.

I mean no you'd have to trade some kind of tangible asset not just more picks. It just can't be picks it has to be something more of a sure thing. Korchinski, Nazar, Reichel something known.

It’s a one spot move so I’d stay put and draft Leo Carlsson

How about Seth Jones? jk

Those three stay put since the Hawks need high end talent that Bowman depleted during his time in Chicago. Yes Reichel is a Bowman pick but that's really all he has left as a net positive from his tenure here.

Chicago does not have the assets to acquire a top 2 pick. Almost no team has the assets to do this trade (and make it worth it).

It would probably take Chicagos own 1st rounder and then either Tampa Bay's or Chicagos next year 1st rounder too. No way they're dropping back to not even pick in the top 3.

Hawks are better off with all their picks. Very clear Davidson plans to build this through the draft over a 4 year period (2022-2025).
