the f*ck was that ending in this Czechia-Canada game

probably the worst most blatant missed call I've ever seen

I’m praying that this isnt acl or anything. The injuries have gotten insane towards the caps

Yeah, that's garbage from Eyssimont. Sandin has had an unfortunate past with these kid of injuries, hopefully he's fine 🤞

Well it is slightly concerning yes but like, LA, Bergevin era Montreal, etc there’s a hard time developing our picks aspect too

Can't believe that Chiarelli was even in the running for Penguins; he fired Sully as HC in Boston a long time back.

Fenway Sports Group has several positions in Pittsburgh to possibly fill: CEO, President of Hockey Operations, and General Manager.

Dubas could step in as Pittsburgh CEO or POHO and bring Brandon Pridham in as GM.

Caps injuries didnt help Laviolette but out of all coaches available rn hes the best guy based on experience

Cause if we look

154 playoff games 0.506 win % (Lav)
60 playoff games 0.517 win % (Gal). Big note for Gallant he only lasts 2 years on a team before issues arise
90 playoff games 0.478 win % (Bou)

That NSH team especially man what a piece of work what a run next to SJS should have also won a cup

And if we look at former coaches or guys out of the league

Trotz 162 gp 0.512 win % (became gm)
Quenville 225 gp 0.538 win % (should not come back)
Babcock 164 gp 0.549 win % (scum)

So yea Lav would honestly be fine with a younger team as experience can be helpful and he will hold players accountable. No more mr nice guy. His one big issue no developing young guys but u want someone to get in the heads of the big 4 and straighten them out this is the guy

With the caps yes but they werent the right team for him past their prime and needed to go in a new direction. They starting it but still need to continue and get out from the old guys. As lets be real if not for the injuries he would have got them to the playoffs. As to how far they would have went no idea.

But besides that Laviolette has the coaching pedigree was the man who taught Brid'Amour what coaching was, and won a cup and took NSH to the finals

Lavy disrespect won't be tolerated, He's a good coach. His time in WSH was just coming to a close and they're trying to change it up.

In general his final season with them was just injuries, injuries, injuries

I feel WSH was just not the right team for him. A younger team where guys are just entering their primes might be the perfect mix

To me him being in Toronto might actually straighten out the big 4. As this man holds you accountable

Nah that was Michael Leighton lmao.

That run was so lucky to begin with. Unfortunately it ended in very unlucky fashion from that Kane fluke girl
