Win-Win situation for Dallas tonight with the Texas Stars' game. If they win, then Dallas is the only team with both their NHL and AHL teams making the conference finals.

If they lose, then we can play Alex Petrovic instead of Hakanpaa or Suter in game 3.

So.... The Panthers might be for real huh?

Their style of play would be so frustrating. Boston and Toronto are probably sitting at home thinking "we lost, they didn't win" but if it keeps happening maybe Florida is just good. 😋

But somehow dont call that high stick on Florida

How do you not call the high stick?

Carolina hasn't played well enough to win, so they're not being robbed. But that's a terrible miss.

I mean they were robbed 6 on 4 could have resulted in the tying goal

They got 1 PP that game while Florida got 4 including 2 soft calls (That one on Tkachuck was soft )

Yea not good, but not surprised as in game 3 both rounds 0 pp for Toronto and 1 for FLA. Almost like they rigging

If you're relying on getting a call in the final minutes to tie a game you haven't played well enough to win imo.

High stick not called against FLA but that soft slash on Martinhook was yea thats a big of rigging.

And if u ask why rig for FLA, get a series over with I guess. As nobody comes back from 3-0 unless u Kings

By that logic, if you rely on a call in the second period to win a game as the Panthers did tonight, you haven't played well enough to win, either, but sometimes that's just what happens. The officials are part of the game, and sometimes they help you win, and sometimes they don't, as whatever happens, the team has to deal with it.

I'm not confident enough in their 6v4 to say that they would have extended the game, but I still think that the officiating worked in Florida's favour tonight. It's not malice, it's not rigged, it's just unlucky
