Only the Wings trade, and Wings would have to add. Other teams have cap issues, and Flyers aren't giving up two firsts just to sign a RFA for UFA money

If I had to choose one of these it'd be the Philly trade but none of them are encouraging

He’s not leaving and I would rather just keep the picks we have anyway. At that point it would be better to just offerhseet him anyway since offer sheeting him up to $8.5M only costs a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd

Flyers definitely aren't giving up pick #7 this year.

Habs would match that, even if it is a bit expensive, it be for only a year

The Philly, Winnipeg, and New Jersey trades all heavily favour Montreal

I get y'all like Ray, but Cole might not like MTL sadly.

The only one I see as a maybe is the MTL / NYR deal. I think NYR wins that by a fair bit, but who knows.

Wow. Someone is massively overvaluing a tiny, one dimensional perimeter winger.

Well if that's the case then I don't think we'll be giving up Ray to get him lol

IDK how good defensively Ray is, but doesn't a future 50-goal scorer seem like a better deal? Personally, if there wasn't any contract tension, I wouldn't consider trading Cole for Ray, but there are tensions, and I think Ray would be a good replacement for Cole. If you Ray really is better, what else to MTL add, or is it just a question of opinion?

I think at this stage in their careers we need to wait around and see which will be better. I really like Ray's game so anything short of a comedic overpay wouldn't get it done for me. I'm sure you feel the same about Caufield.

Not so much a case of which is better, they're both awesome, just not a player I'd want to give up at all is more the thing
