The Kings clear cap by sending Pittsburgh a $1.7M contract and signing Guentzel to a $7.5M contract? I don't get it.

The Devils don't need to clear cap space. Even if they did, Siegs wouldn't be their cap casualty.

Wow, you've given up way too much for Hall. Why even help the Bruins with their cap? Just sign a UFA.
No way the Kings give up so much for Guentzel.....and no crazy extension talk especially for a contact that takes him not his late 30sw.

Siegs is untouchable. Top pairing dman at 3.4 isn't clearing cap, considering that costs nearly, if not double that to replace in FA.

As a B's fan I'm for this deal. B's need draft capital and cap space plus O'Connor could be a solid 4th line guy.

No, we actually need to clear cap by getting rid of a middle 6er RFA who costs 2 mill and the biggest bargain contract on our roster
