I feel that’s a very good opinion. I’m curious about his desire for term given his injury history. It would be a challenge for him if he required additional shoulder work after a short term contract. Would almost be a ticket to the KHL. But financially it makes way more sense than targeting term.

The thing is he could get more next year as there's gonna be a cap jump and lets say he signs with OTT and puts on a show someone might say here's 7mill x 6 years

That's very risky, especially for a player w/ significant injuries in his past. But, I see the logic behind it.
