Yeah, its too much money, but we also don't have cap issues during the length of his contract. It'll be fine for us. I'm voting good because it doesn't hurt the Ducks at all.

I'll bet none of my fellow Ducks fans will be voting No.

This is one of the signings we were hoping for -- a hard-nosed competitor to play RD for at least three seasons. Price is no object.

Good defensive metrics, good PK metrics, throws the BIG hit, and we have no cap issues during the length of the contract.

No trade protection and no signing bonus. If needed we could retain and ship him off, or we could buy him out. Really shouldn't be an issue for us.
