Decent, guess this year will be another mediocre season to evaluate things. Cole is an alright replacement for OEL and a big improvement. Guess he will play 2nd pair with Hronek

What a terrible FA with a lot of terrible contracts. I'm glad as a Pens fan to see just Nietto signing for 900k/1 years. I hope Dubas doesn't do anything stupid as most of GMs are doing.

What would he have gotten if he wasnt a perv? Way too much, we just got rid of one overpaid pylon in OEL...and then throw most of the money saved at this guy? thankfully its only 1 year.

they should add the option of 'fire the gm' rather than just a no vote.

defeats the purpose of buying out OEL... not much better, and this was the only year that they saved much on the buyout

We are more than halfway through the season and this turned out to be a solid signing. He's not much of a factor offensively, but he's been better than expected defensively and with the number of injuries the Canucks have had on defence, he's played an important part.
