It’s only 1 year. Dellandrea getting a decent contract is a certainty. Him on a cheap deal this season to help further Dallas’ cause in a chase for a cup is a massive win for the Stars. W. Way cheaper than I expected.

This is a strange contract. You would think he could get more AAV even for 1 year considering the season he just had. He's leaving a lot of money on the table and taking the risk he has a bad season. Bravo to Dallas

Sounds like Labanc when he signed that 1 year 1M contract
I know Labanc did way more than Dellandrea, but still

Definitely thought this would've been like 1.75 with a few years of term.

W for Dallas, he's got a bright future

He had no arbitration's rights and DAL has no cap room.

As a 2018 high 1st round pick stuck on a 4th line, I would be starting to lose my patience.

He looked really good on the 3rd line with Benn & Johnston last year. If Marchment takes another step back I think we'll see TD get alot more minutes,

Banking on a continued upward trajectory (considering this was his first whole season) and the cap rising next year.

DAL wins on cap hit, Ty wins on term.

I don't watch much Stars hockey, but I'd have thought a guy who was good enough to play 14 minutes a night and all the playoff games would get over $1 mil

I'm probably splitting hairs, but to me a 13th over all is more mid first round

I was expecting double that AAV. Delly's a bulldog and I love watching him play. Hopefully he'll sign longer next summer, need more guys on the team with heart.

Not with Dallas adding Duchene, Dadonov and Smith during the summer.

I selfishly hope he asks for too much money next season and Anaheim can get him. I REALLY like him as a middle six agitator.

Dallas expects to go on another deep run this year. Ty and the other young RFAs could be looking at significant paydays if the team goes back to the finals.

With the moves and cuts that happen during training camp, I can see him getting picked up if he's ever placed on waivers!
