As much as I despise Suter, a first round pick is way too rich just to dump him. Management also loves him, so this is a huge no

Not a bad offer for Holtz though personally I still don’t think I’d accept because of the reason you gave. There is a spot for him on the team but he has to beat out some competition. If he doesn’t make the team out of camp, then it is almost certain he gets dealt

Ducks don't need RD so much that they'd pay a fourth for a guy worth only a seventh. Wideman is barely an NHLer.

Yeah, not sure if he can outplay Toffoli or Palat for the spot...Ruff hasn't exactly favoured him either

This is actually a very interesting offer for Holtz, I like Farrell a lot and the picks could reasonably make up for a difference in value between the two prospects.
RIght now I'd still lean against it though as I'm a big believer in Holtz and I think he'll be playing regularly in the Devils top 9 throughout the year and be a big contributor this season.

Good offer for Boqvist. CBJ could gamble this year, play him on the second pair, and try to trade him next summer. If he stays healthy, I think he'd fetch a 1st+ next summer, but if they wanted to trade him now, a 2nd and 3rd now would be a fair deal to mitigate the risk.

He's a super talented player, but there are still a lot of "ifs" to be answered about his long-term career. Health and defensive play are legit concerns.

MTL Management loves Savard, I can't see them moving him just for the sake of moving him. It's unlikely a team (like DAL) moves a 1st for him but we're not exactly hard pressed to move him either.

After Reinbacher I feel like MTL is out on Boqvist.

Nobody is giving us a 4th for Wideman lol he likely clears waivers and finishes his career leading the few AHL RDs we have.

MTL going to want at least a 2nd for a retained Dvorak, if nobody is willing we try again next year. Again, not hard pressed to move him.

And then Holtz, probably a good deal if he's going to be something special. Seems like the kind of trade HuGo would make (Dach & Newhook for example)

Nice ACGM overall though, we're all going to nit-pick everything as per usual but at least it's not a Habs Fleecing ACGM lol

I think Dallas would probably accept that, with all of their fingers and toes crossed that Suter waives his NMC to go to MTL.

I don't see a scenario in which he loses his spot. He would have to show worse than Graeme Clarke.

Yeah, honestly think a team should snag him. If not for injuries, he has shown glimpses of a big breakout. Could be an elite puck moving D, if I were CBJ, i would probably lean towards dealing Peeke, his physicality is replaced by Gudbranson, and they just brought a minute munching, top-4 D in Severson, seemingly an improvement on Peeke and could fetch more right now..

Buddy. Guy. Just because that’s what it shows on DailyFaceoff doesn’t mean that’s what the lines will be. Toffoli can just as easily be 1RW or 3RW. With how Lindy Ruff blended lines last year regularly and to come out so abrasive calling me clueless and a clown when your just going off a website as fact is quite literally so ironic. And yes. He does need to beat out competition because there are guys like Foote, Clarke and Thompson that can take his spot so my friend YOU are the one that needs to do some research because you are the true clown here.
