He looked good towards the end but lets see

No risk deal

But man if he continues those strong performances might be a loss for him as in FA he could have potentially got way more

Look what Poolman and Holl got lul

Why? This is a strange contract to sign. I guess this means he's got a spot on the roster this year and won't be playing in the AHL.

He'll almost certainly play this year. He was way better than Bogosian last year

Excellent deal. Love Raddysh. He has top 4 potential. Short track record in the NHL, but if you watched him at the end of last season or in the series vs Toronto you know he will be a regular in Tampa's lineup this year and could see top 4 minutes.

Anyone who really watched him closely at the end of last season knows this deal is a steal.

Great deal. Even though he only played 21 games, he was playing upwards of 25 minutes a night towards the end. He seems to gel nicely with Sergachev so I'd expect similar usage this year.

True but Poolman was a decent D man and then injuries got the best of him

I dont see him as anything more than a depth/bottom pairing dman...but at that price and term its a fair deal. they must expect him to stick on the roster seeing as its a 1way deal.

Just hand the Stanley Cup to the Lightning right now...

This signing just pushed them into undefeatable territory.

same thought here, it's why I wonder why he would sign the contract right now. He was playing 22 mins per night during the playoffs...

He will be given the opportunity to play top 4. He should have bet on himself

really kind of an oddly specific salary breakdown, especially for an NHL/AHL tweener. you only see that kind of stuff with, like, Jesperi Kotkaniemi's meme offer sheet.

25:13 TOI in the playoffs last year should have told you that especially with JBB praising him for 4 minutes of a 35 minute sit down interview

Yeah playing second most minutes to only Sergachev in the playoffs 25:13 to be exact. Said that to anyone paying attention

Darren Raddysh will always hold a special place in my heart after his heroic OT winner that sent the Leafs to the second round.

I think Raddysh is a good 6/7D. Certainly better than Bogosian. Good, cheap deal for the Lightning, Im a fan

50 games in the AHL last year, so there was a chance Tampa was looking for a full time NHLer instead of going with him. This contract changes that.
