You understand Brodie is effectively worthless to the Ducks as an over 30 pending UFA with a 7?5 million dollar salary? I'd go so far as to say he has negative value to us, so no, that doesn't get Drysdale.

Ducks are one of the best positioned teams to chase Nylander as a UFA, why would we trade a promising young star for him?

Pursue all you want, this deal isn't even in the same conference as what it takes to get it done.

Marner missed the start of camp with a contract holdout

Matthews as it turns out didn't have a contract holdout, he signed while he was still under his ELC.

Chicago isn’t trading anything for Jarnkrok, you want them to take him, then be prepared to pay for it.

Wrong, Matthews signed his 2nd contract early.

Nylander held out to almost Xmas.

Marner held out until pre season was started.
