Chicago isn't giving up valuable draft capital plus being able to turn Dickison and Murphy into (2) 2nds for a year and half of Marner...not a chance

First of all if you can make Marner waive his NMC then I agree 100%.
But second it would not be to CHI.
There is 1 thing that could possibly swing this idea for Marner but would be next year is if CHI get 1st pick and Cellibrini, Imagine that line Cellibrini, Bedard and Marner!
CHI may consider a trade like this because they keep their way more valuable 1sts, but then on top of NMC some how CHI would have to know Marner would resign long term at a reasonble cap hit.

Hawks would be stupid to refuse to pay the equivalent of 2 late first and 2 seconds for a top 10 winger.

Even if you dont want him you could flip him instantely to any team for a good roster player, a top prospect and 2 first, which is already much more than you gave up

a 2nd pairing dman, a bottom 6 forward and 2 late 1st rd picks is very reasonable for 90pt top line winger and a 3rd pairing dman

Think of this as playing a game and there a rules. When you play chess you just can decide the horse gets to move like the queen because you want it too. NMC contracts are just that. All in good fun. Just a suggestion.

Hawks are rebuilding, not acquiring soon to expire players even if they are a top 10 winger UNLESS the intent is to flip, HOWEVER it's that easy to flip him, Toronto does it first. So no, this won't happen

Celebrini is a center and so is Bedard. If Chicago gets lucky and lands Celebrini, he will be their 2C
