Like the 1st 3 trades. Can't see Buffalo doing the 4th trade with R. Johnson, Novikov and Lindgren coming up the pipeline on the Left

meh, I really like johnson but nikishkin brings a completely different game. Novikov and Lindgren will never play in the nhl

Outproducing? By 1 point? That's not outproducing, that's potentially one game from Ek being ahead by 1 point. And Ek has 8 more goals. Ek is also miles better defensively, not to mention the grit and physical play he brings. Ek is also signed for 5 more years at a very good contract, where Mittelstadt't $ value is unknown, and will probably be higher than Ek's. Ek being two years older and including a 2nd round pick two drafts from now doesn't come close to offsetting the value.

If the Canes even have the slightest sniff that Nikishin wont come to NA, then they should take this and run!

Not enough for me to give up Kulich when I already have Dahlin, Power, R. Johnson on the left side. And Novikov is having a fabulous year in Rochester.

Wild would offer you a 4th for mitts. This trade is ridiculous as shown. Maybe if it were cozens.

Eriksson Ek is not available. Your offer is a lowball. How'd you like Tage Thompson for Ryan Hartman and a 3rd?

Nikishin is better than Johnson, and probably better than Power right now. There's not a chance Carolina consider this, not for a second. He's the best defenseman in the world right now that isn't in the NHL, and it's not close

I do understand how good he is, but with the Depth at LD. If we are using Kulich it's for a top RD. IMO

U sound totally absurd with that reasoning
Mitts next contract will be a few mil bigger also
Plus Ek is the better player right now

I’m a Sabres fan,
but i agree there’s no way Minny makes that deal

Realistically JEK is no where near tage and hartman is no where near mitts, but alright keep him lol

Nikishin, like power and Dahlin, can play both sides. Kulich wouldn't get Nikishin anyway

That was literally the entire point he was making. Mittelstadt is to JEE as JEE is to Tage.

Let's put it this way. There's not a single player on the Sabers roster that Minnesota willfully trades for JEE straight up for.

Not Tage, Dahlin, Power, Cozens nor Benson.

Not one.

It's literally not a question of value. It's that he's literally untouchable as untouchable gets. Canucks fans have thrown Lekkerimaki, Raty, Podkolzin plus two 1sts at us in ACGM's. Which blows this offer out of the water. The answer was still no. It would require Elias Pettersson (#40) to be coming back our way for us to even consider moving JEE.

Reasonable? Absolutely not. But that's what it would take. Saber fans had better be prepared to pay that kind of price in order to acquire him, because it's not happening otherwise.

Yeah, no way this makes any sense for Min. The contract difference alone is massive.
