Roy extended is a different story, but I can't imagine Roy signing a deal without a no trade. If he's planning on leaving, might as well hit the market, and if not, he doesn't pull anything like that as a rental.

Would you do a 1st + Niemela rather than 1st + Cowan? I have Niemela as our #3 prospect and Cowan as our #1 prospect. (Minten at 2)

Yea I would do that. If the Kings wanna move him they really dont have much leverage as Im sure Doughty would only accept a trade to Toronto.

I would have to think long and hard about it, but I think the Canes pass; The defense has been set up for Morrow to take a top 4 spot in the next two years. This is also assuming Fiala waives his NMC, which he might if the Kings blow it up but idk, maybe he likes LA.

Bruins are not interested in parting with Frederic or their picks for the oldest center in the NHL who will most likely retire as a King. By the time the off-season rolls around, Ullmark’s value will have diminished enough that LA will fish for goalies elsewhere or only offer a 3rd or 4th rounder.

This is exactly what the Leafs need. We already have 5 guys making the majority of the cap, so the obvious solution would be to add another one who's older than all of them, with the added bonus of giving away our best prospect and our highest draft pick. Genius!
