Kakko has 1 assist in 28 games. He could easily get dealt for a UFA rental at that pace. Rangers will be selling low on him.

Tarasenko is a clear RW upgrade over Kakko.

            But whatever ...

Wow congrats then you can keep him since he’s so much better

Meanwhile Kakko is younger, has a favorable contract and possibly higher upside. Also scoring points isn’t everything in the NHL

Rangers won’t get an upgrade at RW. Kakko is probably viewed as Jesse Puljujärvi around the league.

Weird how the rangers have a bad player in Kakko in the top 6 and still way ahead of buffalo who’s been rebuilding for 20 years now? Lmao

Fifth year in the league and Kakko averages 30 points per 80 games. No way is he worth what you're asking . And if this year is any indication does he even get picked up on waivers.??

Completely disinterested in Kakko as a piece in a Batherson deal. Best case scenario, in a couple years Kakko is roughly as good as Batherson already is.

I mean the point here is showing people what Kakko would be moved for. Not traded for a rental or other positions they don’t need

I mean y’all got so many players that are better than Kakko but somehow worse than the rangers who employ him in the top 6. What was the score of that game on Saturday? I forget

Rangers won’t get an upgrade at RW. Kakko is probably viewed as Jesse Puljujärvi around the league.

Kakko isn’t being actively shopped. CD has just been taking calls and listening to proposals. Analysts have talked about how he can be moved to upgrade. The fans on here don’t have any actual gauge on his value. I’d bet a lot of money he isn’t moved. Not because I’m claiming he’s better than others. But simply because this isn’t the right year to go all in for a run. You don’t move future pieces when the future is the real window. Only way NYR is a contender is if shesty finds his game, and if that happens they are already looking strong so a depth piece is all that’s really needed either way

Open your eyes lmao never said 1 for 1

            U could add two 1sts & we’d still laugh

            Kakko + Schneider….
now that’s something to discuss, but that’s only bc Kakko essentially becomes a secondary piece
Frankly one that u can keep bc he just doesn’t have much trade value- none at all to the Sabres
U guys can keep Kakko 🤮🤮🤮
