Dowd is a complete player and is the type of player your coach loves. Philly is also pushing for a playoffs spot. MAkes a lot of sense considering Laughton perceived value was / is high and Dowd would fill in his spot and do it better

Eventhough Philly is in a playoff spot, they won't be buying at the deadline, they will only be selling. They won't be buying to try and push for the playoffs, their intention is still to accumulate assets and rebuild.

It makes no sense.....we have plenty of options to fill that role if Laughton is moved. In addition the GM, President and coach have all said that we are rebuilding and where we are in the standings doesn't matter. The only way we trade picks at the deadline is to add young controllable players. Dowd absolutely doesn't fit the plan, period.
